Sip & Sing Concert
Our first program for the season is presented in a relaxed, casual environment.  The audience is invited to enjoy scrumptious desserts while listening to fabulous music performed by world renowned artists and young performers.  Proceeds from this event support the Marian Anderson Music Guild's Scholarship Program.
Black History Month
Black History Program
The Guild’s signature program is a celebration of the African American experience.  Artists perform a variety of selections from the classical genre; interpret selections that reflect the importance of the Negro Spiritual in the lives of African Americans; and showcase young artists as they creatively perform various types of jazz selections.  Proceeds from this event support the Marian Anderson Music's Scholarship Program.

Splendid Evening Concert

The Guild brings to you an evening of fun highlighted with show tunes, classical, gospel, contemporary, jazz, dance and theater.  These mosaics of music and theater arts are designed to entertain audiences of all ages.   Proceeds from this event support the Marian Anderson Music Guild's Scholarship Program.
Negro Spiritual Workshop
Negro Spiritual Workshop
During this workshop and master class, attendees are given the opportunity to learn the history of the Negro Spiritual and gain an understanding of the significance of this form of music in American history.  Under the direction of Dr. Lourin Plant, Assistant Professor Rowan University, participants are taught to effectively interpret the Negro Spiritual and refine their presentation and performance skills.
Scholarship Competition

Elementary school, middle school, high school and college students in the South Jersey area are invited to compete in the Marian Anderson Music Guild’s Scholarship Competition.   Winners of the competition receive funds that help them continue their music studies.

Young Performers Concert

Young people throughout the area come together to perform the music they like best.  The atmosphere is relaxed and the young people have fun as they put their best foot forward at this year-end fundraiser for the Youth Division of the Marian Anderson Music Guild, Inc.


Stay at Home Tea

Stay at Home Tea

This no worry, no hassle event is the oldest fundraiser for the Marian Anderson Music Guild’s scholarship program.  We ask that you become a Friend of the Guild with your individual contribution.
